“It’s easier to coach Lukaku than Neymar and Mbappe – Tuchel

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has made a rather honest revelation about the superstar players he coached at his former club Paris Saint Germain.

The German was sacked by the Paris giants after failing to help the club realise its UEFA Champions League dream in 2019/20.

Tuchel soon made his way to West London after Frank Lampard was brutally released from his contract at Stamford Bridge.

Tuchel nevertheless came in in October to fly the club to a top-four finish and an almost miraculous UCL title.

The German coach was recently asked about getting the best out of Romelu Lukaku compared to the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in Paris.

“It’s easier to coach Lukaku than Neymar or Mbappe,” he said via La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“They are two completely different clubs with regards to style and organisation,” he said.

“At PSG, I felt I was the Minister for Sport. I had to also manage family members and friends of the stars.”

Meanwhile, Tuchel is now preparing his men some EFL Cup action against Southampton midweek.
