After an action-packed week in Europe, attention now shifts to the weekend action in the Premier League.
Arguably the biggest match of the weekend will be at Stamford Bridge when the limping Man United visit the league leaders.
United booked a place in the knockout phase of the Champions League courtesy of a 2-0 win away at Villarreal and will be looking to bounce back to winning ways in the league following their 4-1 humbling away at Watford last time out.
Captain Harry Maguire will miss the match following his red card last weekend against the Hornets, giving caretaker manager Michael Carrick something to ponder on as he faces one of the most potent attacking units in the league.
With Raphael Varane also out, Carrick faces a dilemma, even though Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof could do the job.
Phil Jones is also back and traveled with the team to Spain in midweek, and could be an option as well.
Luke Shaw, who missed the midweek clash, is another worry for Carrick, even though he could be involved if passed fit.
Edinson Cavani is also out with a minor injury, while Mason Greenwood has missed the last two matches after testing positive for COVID-19.
